QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
What is a typical day for the players? After awakening, the boys eat breakfast and relax until the first training session at 10am which lasts until 12 noon.
They then rest, have lunch and relax until 2pm when they train for another two hour session or play a game against a local team.
Do the families see the boys daily? Most days they do after the afternoon session, however this can be individualized for each team.
What is the lodging and food like? The lodging is excellent in a
four-star Hotel and the food is great at the Hotel or in local restaurants.
What do the boys learn? The coaches first assess the team’s strengths and weaknesses and then design a program to help the team/players improve.
Training is both serious but enjoyable.
What teams do they play? The teams are from local soccer clubs and they range from excellent to superb. The coaches try to match teams for competitive matches. The home teams will sometimes ‘take it down a notch’ if the coaches ask them to. That said, the teams are a treat to watch and play.
Will it actually help play upon returning to the US? We have seen players "catch soccer fever" here and they will have an opportunity to play against terrific competition. Teams return with increased sense of purpose and more confidence.
Do you recommend parents accompany children on the trip?
Absolutely! Not only is it a wonderful trip for the family, but it is important for the children to feel their families support. Having said that, a child may go without parents by prior arrangement.
Can I get the refund of the money paid if I cancel the Trip?
If The Trip is canceled less than 30 days prior to the departure date the money paid is not refundable. If the Trip is canceled more than 30 days prior to the departure date only 50% of the money paid will be refundable.
